113th Sustainment Brigade

Our Proud History

The 113th Sustainment Brigade began as the 113th Field Artillery Brigade and in 2008 was reorganized as sustainment brigade. It soldiers are experts in ordnance, quartermaster, transportation and logistics.  

The brigade deployed to Kuwait in December, 2011. The Soldiers managed the last equipment and resources from Iraq and oversee the flow of critical resources to U.S. and allied forces in Afghanistan and across Central Command’s area of operations.  The 113th Soldiers have deployed to Kuwait, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan during this rotation. The unit has the unusual Army mission of sealift with command of four Army logistics vessels transporting various types of cargo all across the region.
